New feature: lock down your data pipelines to prevent unauthorised edits
Here’s one lockdown we hope is good news: you can now lock down a pipeline configuration to prevent unauthorised edits.
Quantemplate’s strength is its flexibility and ease of use. Anyone with a basic understanding of Excel can create powerful, repeatable data pipelines to automate data transformation. But ‘with freedom comes responsibility’, so data controllers and their auditors need the confidence that once a pipeline is in operational use, it can’t be changed unintentionally.
We’ve introduced the ability for pipeline owners to lock data transformation operations, so that team members can still run data through a pipeline and view its configuration, but can’t make edits to the locked components.
